Muswiesenlauf

The Muswiesenlauf is a traditional fun run in Hohenlohe, celebrating its 41st edition on October 10, 2026. It is the oldest fun run in the region and offers a range of distances for children, teenagers, and adults. The courses are officially measured and follow varied routes along paved agricultural roads and gravel forest paths. Every participant receives a certificate, and children also receive bumper-car tokens. The event takes place as part of the historic Muswiese festival, which has been held annually since 1434.

Late registrations are possible on race day up to 45 minutes before the relevant start. Changing rooms and showers are available at the Forum multipurpose hall, 2 km away; basic changing facilities without showers are available at the start area. The awards ceremony takes place in the Muswiesenhalle at the festival grounds. Parking is available around the festival grounds and the start/finish area; heavy traffic may cause delays. Races over 500 m, 1,000 m, 2,500 m, 5,000 m, and 10,000 m; online registration until one day before the race; late registration available on race day; race bibs distributed at Stadel Hofburk.
