Race description
The Muswiesenlauf is a traditional community run in Hohenlohe, celebrating its 41st edition on October 10, 2026. It is the oldest community run in the region and offers various courses for students, youth, and adults. The routes are officially measured and lead diversely over paved agricultural paths and gravel forest trails. Each participant receives a certificate, and children are additionally given box auto chips. The event is embedded in the historic Muswiese festival, which has been held annually since 1434.

Additional information
Late registrations are possible on race day up to 45 minutes before the respective start. Changing rooms and showers are available at the 2 km distant multi-purpose hall "Forum", simple changing rooms without showers are available at the start area. The award ceremony takes place in the Muswiesenhalle on the festival grounds. Parking is available around the festival grounds and start/finish area; during peak times, traffic congestion may occur. Races over 500m, 1,000m, 2,500m, 5,000m, 10,000m; online registration until one day before the race; late registrations on race day are possible; bib number distribution at Stadel Hofburk.
