Monschau-Marathon warm-up

The Monschau Marathon is a scenic race through the picturesque Eifel region, attracting runners from all over the world. The course passes through historic old-town areas, green meadows and woodland, as well as challenging climbs that offer a sporting challenge. Its warm, welcoming atmosphere is shaped by dedicated volunteers and an international field of runners. Alongside the classic marathon, ultra distances and relay events are also offered, making this a special running experience.

Late entries are possible online and in person through and including 09.08.2026; a late-entry fee applies. There are 12 refreshment stations along the course. Medical services, doctors, a massage team and sports physiotherapists will be on site. Camping is available on the Am Windrad sports field (10 € per day/person; children free). Showers and changing facilities are in the sports hall at Konzen Primary School. Pacemakers for various target times are available. A finisher’s medal is included; a technical shirt can be booked for an additional fee when registering online by 31 July. Several race distances are offered, including the marathon, ultra, relay and walking events. Participant services include refreshments, medals, finisher shirts, massage services and an after-run party. Registration is subject to deadlines, and personalised bibs are available.
