Losheimer Trailfest

The Losheim Trailfest on 27 and 28 June 2026 offers a varied trail-running experience in the Saar-Hunsrück-Hochwald premium hiking region. Participants can look forward to spectacular trails featuring bizarre rock formations, winding streams, raised bogs and romantic stream valleys. The ultra distances have been extended: the T 60 has become the 100-kilometre T 100, and the T 45 has become the 50-kilometre T 50; both routes lead around the Saarschleife. There is an age-appropriate Youth Trail for young people, and the T Ch Challenge lets runners experience different routes over two days. The event site at Losheim Seegarten is a place to relax and celebrate.

Shuttle bus service on Saturday from 08:30 from Losheim to the start line in Mettlach for the T 50 and T Ch. Mandatory equipment for the T 100 includes a headlamp with spare batteries, a personal cup, a mobile phone with the emergency number, rainwear and an emergency blanket. Refreshments at several stations include water, isotonic drinks, fruit, snacks and regional specialities. Massage available in the afternoon for long-distance runners. Pasta party on Friday evening (€10), bookable when registering. Dogs are allowed at the event site in Seegarten, but not in the lido. KidsRun: a short loop on the event grounds.
