KarlsruheLäuft 100 Jahre Berufsfeuerwehr Karlsruhe

The Karlsruhe Professional Fire Brigade will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2026 with a diverse event program for the entire city. The anniversary includes sporting competitions, historical highlights such as classic car meetings and hand-pump fire engine competitions, as well as ceremonial acts and castle light shows. The events offer exciting insights into the history and technology of the fire brigade and invite everyone to join in celebrating and remembering.

The anniversary year 2026 offers, in addition to sporting competitions, historical events such as the classic car meeting with around 120 historic fire engines and the competition for historic hand-pump fire engines. There is also a Landesflorianifeier, a theater performance for children, and diverse insights into fire brigade technology and history. The events take place among other locations at Karlsruhe Castle and the Daxlanden fire station. The registration deadline is June 10, 2026; the event is part of the anniversary celebrations and is open to runners of all ages.
