Race description
The International Forchheimer New Year's Eve Run in Rheinstetten is a traditional New Year's Eve run with over 30 years of history. The main race covers a 10 km loop through the Rheinauenwald, starting at Karlsruher Straße and Kastenwoertstraße, with the finish line at the club house of Sportfreunde Forchheim. In addition to the 10 km run, there is also a 5 km course suitable for walkers and Nordic walkers. Timing is done electronically via chip in the bib, and the event relies on the voluntary commitment of many helpers.
