Jakob Scheuring Lauf

The 24th Jakob Scheuring Run will take place on July 19, 2026, at the Murgstadion Ottenau and includes races over 1.5 km for students, 5 km, and 10 km with timing and placement. The course runs from the stadium through the picturesque Salzwiesental, mostly through forest and meadows, back to the stadium. The event is part of the sports festival of the Ottenau Sports Club and offers a family-friendly atmosphere with catering and an award ceremony in the festival tent.

Race bibs can be collected at the festival entrance from 07:30 to 08:50. Late registration is possible up to 30 minutes before the start for a fee of 2 €. Drinks are available at the start/finish area and at the 10 km turnaround point. Certificates and prizes for the top three in each age group. Special prize of €250 for course record. Award ceremony begins around 12:00 in the festival tent. Changing rooms and showers are available at Murgstadion. Parking is sufficient at Murgstadion. Late registration is possible up to 30 minutes before the start, with catering, changing facilities, and parking available.
