Ipsheimer Weinberglauf

The Ipsheim Vineyard Run is a traditional race held on the second Friday in September in the picturesque Ipsheim vineyards. It offers various competitions for students, hobby runners, and the main race with a distance of approximately 5800 meters. The course is well marked and runs through the vineyards with a magnificent view of the Aisch Valley. After the race, participants can relax at the awards ceremony at the Vineyard House with snacks and wine. The race has developed into a sporting highlight with nearly 400 participants.

Registration starts at 4:00 PM on race day at the start area below the Ipsheim vineyards. Bibs must be worn on the front of the chest. All participants receive a high-quality functional shirt as a guest gift. Showers are available at the Ipsheim festival hall. Toilets are located at the start area and at the Vineyard House. Free refreshments are provided at the start area, during the main race, and at the finish. Clothing transport from start to finish is available for all races. Shuttle bus from the finish to the showers and the Vineyard House with a half-hourly shuttle service from 8:00 PM to the parking lot. Parking at the start is available at an illuminated parking lot; parking in the vineyards is prohibited. Awards ceremony immediately after the main race at the Vineyard House with wine and snacks.
