Ipsheimer Weinberglauf

The Ipsheim Vineyard Run is a traditional race held on the second Friday in September in the picturesque Ipsheim vineyards. It offers various events for schoolchildren and recreational runners, as well as the main race over a distance of approx. 5,800 m. The course is well marked and runs through the vineyards, offering a wonderful view of the Aisch Valley. After the race, participants can relax with refreshments and wine at the awards ceremony at the Weinberghaus. The race has become a sporting highlight, with almost 400 participants.

Race number collection from 16:00 on race day in the start area below the Ipsheim vineyards. Race numbers must be worn on the front of the chest. All participants receive a high-quality technical T-shirt as a gift. Showers are available at the Ipsheim festival hall. Toilets are located in the start area and at the Weinberghaus. Free refreshments in the start area, during the main race, and at the finish. Clothing transport from the start to the finish for all races. Shuttle bus from the finish to the showers and the Weinberghaus, with shuttle service to the parking lot every half hour from 20:00. Parking at the start is available in a lit parking lot; parking in the vineyards is prohibited. Awards ceremony after the main race at the Weinberghaus, with wine and refreshments.
