Hüttenfelder Volksbankkerwelauf

The Hüttenfelder Volksbank Kerwe Run is a long-standing running event with a history spanning more than 30 years. It offers runners of all abilities an appealing opportunity to test their endurance and have fun together. There are three races: a half marathon (21.1 km), a 10 km race, and a 2 km children’s race. The course runs mostly through shady woodland and provides a very flat, pleasant running environment, with historic ammunition bunkers as a special highlight. The start and finish are at the Hüttenfeld allotment gardens, and the award ceremony takes place after the races at the Kerweplatz by the Bürgerhaus.

Water and isotonic drink stations in the woodland and at the start/finish. On-site late registration is not possible. Award ceremony at 18:30 at the Kerweplatz by the Bürgerhaus. The 2 km children’s race follows paved farm tracks and the shady edge of the forest. The course passes through woodland and historic bunker complexes, with water and drink stations. Open to participants aged 7 and over. On-site registration from 13:00; start times vary by age group.
