HuBuT - 8. Hunsbuckel-Trail

The HuBuT - Hunsbuckel Trail is a challenging trail-running event in the Hunsrück with three distances: ShortTrail (12 km), HalfTrail (27 km) and UltraTrail (47 km). The routes pass through varied low mountain landscapes featuring green meadows, deep forests, singletracks, ravines and award-winning hiking trails. A special highlight is crossing the Geierlay suspension bridge, Germany’s most beautiful and highest suspension bridge. The start and finish are in the idyllic village of Laubach, offering participants an unforgettable experience in nature.

The trail features singletracks, forest trails, ravines and historic sights such as the ruins of Balduinseck Castle. There is a Winter Edition with a 6-hour run in February. This trail-running event in Laubach in the Hunsrück offers several distances, including the UltraTrail, HalfTrail and ShortTrail, as well as the Winter Edition 6-hour run; typical weather in August is warm.
