Himmelgeister Brückenlauf

The Himmelgeister Bridge Run is a traditional half marathon that has been held annually in Düsseldorf-Himmelgeist since 2004. The route follows the Rhine almost to the heart of Düsseldorf and offers a scenic running course. The race starts early in the morning, around 8 a.m., at Steinkaul in Himmelgeist and is known for its family atmosphere and the after-run party in the beer garden at Haus Krevet. The race will be held for the last time in 2026, as the organizing team is stepping down after the anniversary.

Bib pickup on June 12 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on June 13 from 6:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. at the start venue. Timing is by a chest transponder worn behind the bib. Clothes may be left in the beer garden at Haus Krevet at your own risk. After-run party with raffle and awards ceremony from around 10:30 a.m. Separate awards ceremonies for the top women, men, and teams; no age-group awards. Recommended transport: bus route 835 or carpooling. Parking in the Aldi car park is prohibited.
