Herbstlauf

The autumn run in Ovenhausen is a traditional race organized annually by TuS Ovenhausen on the first Sunday in October. The event offers various distances for different age and ability groups, including a challenging 20.8 km tour through forests and hills, as well as shorter races for young athletes. The course is varied, with sections on cycle paths, in the Grubestadion and in the forest. The race is suitable for both competitive runners and recreational athletes, and usually takes place in pleasant autumn weather.

The race traditionally takes place on the first Sunday in October. There are various age groups and distances, including a 1,000 m run for children and a 4.5 km run, which also counts as the district forest-running championship. The event is organized by TuS Ovenhausen, which works closely with HLC Höxter.
