Race description
The Heiner-Mayr-Staffelberglauf is a challenging mountain relay race taking place on November 7, 2026, in Bad Staffelstein. Organized by TSV 1860 Staffelstein e.V. with support from Sparkasse Coburg-Lichtenfels, the course covers 3,960 meters with 260 meters of elevation gain, starting from Hirtengasse-Horsdorfer Straße and ascending to the Staffelberg plateau at the Adelgundis Chapel. Participants can expect a demanding race with impressive views over the Franconian landscape. The race is a tribute to decades of dedication to running in the region.
