Güttersbacher Volkslauf 2026

The Güttersbach Volkslauf will take place for the 29th time on August 8, 2026, and is an established event on the running calendars of Hesse and the Odenwald. The event is known for excellent organization, a great atmosphere and a smooth-running day. The courses wind through the beautiful countryside around Mossautal and offer a challenge for runners of all ability levels. The start and finish are in the village center at the community hall, where food and drink are also available for participants and spectators.

Late registration is possible on the event day until 30 minutes before the start of the race. The first 200 pre-registered participants receive a T-shirt, as do the first 80 registered schoolchildren. The first-place finisher in each age group (except walking) receives a trophy, a non-cash prize and a certificate. Every finisher receives an exclusive finisher medal. Participants can use the Güttersbach outdoor swimming pool free of charge. Food and drink will be provided for runners and spectators. Participants receive medals, and T-shirts are available for early registrants. Parking is limited and road closures may be in effect. Families receive free admission to the outdoor swimming pool after the race.
