Gorch-Fock-Lauf Wilhelmshaven

The Gorch-Fock-Run in Wilhelmshaven takes place annually in June and offers distances for all age groups, including youth runs, 5 km, 10 km, half marathon, and marathon. The course runs mostly along the coast and the inner harbor, starting at Jade-Allee and finishing in Pumpwerk-Park. The race route is measured and certified by the German Athletics Association (DLV) and guarantees fair competition conditions. In addition to the sporting competition, there is also a club and school run with attractive prize money to promote youth sports in the region.

Start area at Jade-Allee, finish in Pumpwerk-Park. Timing is done with an integrated chip in the bib number. A church service will be held on June 13, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Christus-Garnisonkirche. There are several refreshment stations along the route. Club and school runs with prize money for the five most participating clubs/schools. Changes to registration are possible online via a self-service link; no on-site changes. The event also includes a race church service, club and school competitions, medals, shirts, and prize money. Registration is online, with early bird discounts available. The start is at Jade-Allee, and the finish is in Pumpwerk-Park.
