Gorch-Fock-Lauf Wilhelmshaven

The Gorch-Fock-Lauf in Wilhelmshaven takes place annually in June and offers distances for all age groups, including children’s races, 5 km, 10 km, a half marathon and a marathon. The course runs mostly along the coastline and the inner harbor, starting on Jade-Allee and finishing in Pumpwerk Park. The course is measured by the DLV, ensuring fair competition. In addition to the sporting event, there is also a club and school race with attractive prize money to promote youth sports in the region.

The start area is on Jade-Allee, and the finish is in Pumpwerk Park. Timing uses a chip integrated into the bib number. A runners’ service will be held on June 13, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the Christus-Garnisonkirche. There are several refreshment stations along the course. The club and school race offers prize money to the five clubs/schools with the most participants. Changes of registration can be made online via a self-service link; no changes are possible on site. The event also includes a running service, club and school competitions, medals, shirts and prize money. Registration is online, with early-bird discounts available. The race starts on Jade-Allee and finishes in Pumpwerk Park.
