Race description
The Uplengen Advent Run is a traditional cross-country race that takes place for the 54th time. The races lead through the Hollsand Nature Reserve and offer challenging courses depending on the weather conditions. The event is one of the oldest running events in the region and is often used as preparation for cross-country championships. Various course lengths allow youths and adults to achieve personal bests or improve endurance. The Förderverein of the Remels Elementary School provides food and drinks, including coffee and cake.

Additional information
Youth U14 can choose between 1450 m and 3100 m, U16 can start on the 4450 m middle distance. The red loop is approximately 3000 m plus a 100 m starting zone. The race uses a junction system for route guidance.
