Gänslauf Herbolzheim

The Gänslauf in Herbolzheim an der Jagst is a traditional fun run, taking place for the 18th time on 18 July 2026. The event offers races over 10 km and 5 km, a 1,400 m race for schoolchildren, and 400 m children’s races, and is held as part of the village festival. The course follows scenic, varied circuits, starting and finishing at the Herbolzheim sports hall and passing sights such as the ruins of Herbolzheim Castle. Runners enjoy a mix of paved paths and shaded woodland trails along the Jagst.

No late entries are possible. Advance registration only. Baby joggers, strollers, and dogs are not allowed in any race. The start and finish are at the Herbolzheim sports hall, near TSV Herbolzheim’s football pitch. The course is marked with green arrows on the ground. Medals are awarded to all participants. The event is part of the Drei-Flüsse-Cup 2026.
