Nikolauslauf

The Nikolauslauf in Reichenbach near Lahr/Black Forest is an approved and record-eligible race by the DLV with distances of 5 km and 10 km. The course runs on a 2 x 5 km loop over asphalt and forest paths, mostly flat with slight inclines. The start and finish are located next to the Schutter river near the Geroldseckerhalle. Additionally, there is a 5.5 km walking route with a scenic course through forests and villages, offering beautiful views of Hohengeroldseck Castle.

The start for the 5.5 km walking event is at 14:10 near the finish area. Experience shows that the start area for the 5 km and 10 km runs is very crowded, so early arrival is recommended. The walking route passes by historic and scenic points. The course includes asphalt and forest paths, with the start and finish area next to the Geroldseckerhalle. Limited parking is available; early arrival is advised.
