Nikolauslauf

The Nikolauslauf in Reichenbach near Lahr/Black Forest is a DLV-sanctioned race eligible for rankings, with distances of 5 km and 10 km. The course follows a 2 x 5 km loop over paved and forest paths, mostly flat with gentle climbs. The start and finish are beside the Schutter, near the Geroldseckerhalle. There is also a 5.5 km walking route through the forest and local districts, offering beautiful views of Hohengeroldseck Castle.

The 5.5 km walking event starts at 14:10 near the finish area. Based on experience, the start area for the 5 km and 10 km races is very cramped, so arriving early is recommended. The walking route passes historic and scenic points. Courses over paved and forest paths; start and finish beside the Geroldseckerhalle; limited parking; arriving early is recommended.
