Gänseliesellauf

The 40th Gänseliesellauf will take place on June 12, 2026, in Monheim am Rhein and traditionally opens the city festival. There will be five different races for various age groups, from a 900-meter run for kindergarten children to a 10-kilometer race for adults. The event is organized by the city of Monheim am Rhein in cooperation with the sports club Monheim 1894/1968 e. V. and offers not only athletic competition but also a diverse supporting program with catering and festival activities. The races start and end on Krischerstraße, and all participants receive certificates that can be downloaded online.

Late registrations are possible up to one hour before each race. Certificates can be downloaded after the race via my.raceresult.com. Refreshing drinks and food are available near the races.
