Frontrun - Janus Queer Games 2026

The Frontrun is an inclusive race event as part of the Janus Queer Games 2026 in Cologne, welcoming runners of all genders. It offers a 5 km run, a 10 km run, and a 5 km partner run. The start and finish are located on the Jahnwiesen under a large rainbow, the course is well marked and accompanied by motivating course marshals. The event emphasizes community, diversity, and fun in sports within an open and supportive environment.

Race bibs are available until 11:30 a.m., warm-up begins at 11:45 a.m. Manual timing with an accuracy of +/- 3 seconds. Free water provided during the race, after the race fruit and a cake buffet available for donation to Anyway e.V. No age group classifications, categories include female, male, and all-genders. The 5 km partner run is scored in the all-gender category. Late registrations are possible on race day if starting spots are available. The course is flat and on the Jahnwiesen, registration is available online and on the event day, including refreshments and scoring in multiple categories.
