Race description
The Freiberg Citizens' Festival Run is one of the largest citizen festival running events in Germany and takes place on July 17, 2026, in Freiberg. Over 1,600 runners participate in four different distances ranging from 600 meters to 10 kilometers. The event is characterized by a high finisher rate of over 95% and is accompanied by a subsequent citizens' festival with live music on the marketplace. The start and finish are located in the center of Freiberg, creating a lively and communal atmosphere.

Race documents and registration on-site at PRISMA on the marketplace on July 16 from 17:00 to 19:00 and on July 17 from 15:00. Award ceremony starting around 20:00 on the Seebühne. Changing rooms and showers available at the City Hall and the indoor swimming pool. Parking at the Wasen sports center (5-10 minutes walk). Beverage service during the race and from 18:00 during the citizens' festival provided by local clubs. Online registration available. Open to all age groups. Festive program with music.
