Fränkische Schweiz-Marathon

The Franconian Switzerland Marathon takes place on September 6, 2026, in the picturesque landscape of Franconian Switzerland. The route runs from Neideck to Walberla, passing through idyllic villages, castles, and rocks. The car-free federal highway provides optimal running conditions. Tens of thousands of spectators and a diverse accompanying program give the event a folk festival character. The anniversary edition warmly invites runners of all performance levels to participate.

Helmets are mandatory for handbikers and Run & Bike participants. The route is car-free and offers optimal conditions. There is a colorful accompanying program and numerous spectators along the route. Participation conditions of the German Athletics Association (DLV) apply. The event also includes award ceremonies, partner runs, accommodations, and course records. Additionally, rail and road traffic closures will be implemented to ensure smooth proceedings.
