Fischland-Darss-Zingst-Ultramarathon (FDZU)

The Fischland-Darss-Zingst Ultramarathon (FDZU) is the longest nature experience run in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and takes place on June 13, 2026, for the 10th time. The route leads through the unique Baltic Sea coastal landscape from Rostock to Stralsund and offers runners a special natural experience along the peninsulas and islands of the region. The race is characterized by its tradition and the special flair created by the combination of nature, challenge, and community. Registration opens on July 1, 2025, with the deadline on May 31, 2026.

The start takes place early in the morning at 04:06 AM in the glow of flickering fire bowls. The route has been updated and includes location information for all supply points. Registration is exclusively via the Tollense Timing GmbH portal. There are prizes for the fastest male and female runners on the main route. Nature experience run, route length over 117 km, relay and beach sections, sand passages, elevation profile up to 23 meters, registration required.
