EWE Nordseelauf - Etappe 5

The EWE North Sea Run is a traditional stage race across seven different East Frisian Islands on the Lower Saxony North Sea coast. Over eight days, participants run, walk or Nordic walk approximately 10 km per stage on the islands of Borkum, Juist, Norderney, Baltrum, Langeoog, Spiekeroog and Wangerooge. The event attracts running enthusiasts from across Germany and abroad, offering a unique running experience with a maritime atmosphere and a chance to enjoy nature. Capacity is limited, making the event very popular and causing it to sell out well in advance.

Race bibs are distributed on each island from approximately one hour after the special ferry arrives until 30 minutes before the start. The race bib, with an integrated timing chip, is used for all stages. The start and finish of Stage 1 (Borkum) are on the promenade. Changing rooms, showers and toilets are available on the islands. There is no waiting list, reserve list or transfer of race entries. A technical shirt, technical scarf and other merchandise items are available for purchase.
