Race description
The EWE North Sea Run is a traditional stage race across seven different East Frisian Islands on the North Sea coast of Lower Saxony. Over eight days, participants run, walk, or Nordic walk approximately 10 km per stage on the islands of Borkum, Juist, Norderney, Baltrum, Langeoog, Spiekeroog, and Wangerooge. The event attracts running enthusiasts from all over Germany and abroad and offers a unique running experience with maritime flair and natural scenery. Due to limited capacity, the race is very popular and already fully booked early.

Additional information
Race bibs are issued approximately 1 hour after arrival of the special ferry on the island until 30 minutes before the start. The bib with integrated chip for timing is used for all stages. The start and finish of the first stage (Borkum) are located on the promenade. Changing rooms, showers, and toilets are available on the islands. There is no waiting list, backup list, or transfer of starting places. Functional shirts, headbands, and other merchandise items can be purchased additionally. Stages on seven North Sea islands, no waiting list, limited participant capacity due to infrastructure, race in June 2026, including island walks and community experience.
