Race description
The EWE North Sea Run is a traditional stage race across seven different East Frisian Islands on the North Sea coast of Lower Saxony. Over eight days, participants run, walk, or Nordic walk approximately 10 km stages from island to island. The event attracts running enthusiasts from all over Germany and abroad and offers a unique running experience with maritime flair, dune landscapes, and the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Wattenmeer. Due to limited capacity on the ferries and infrastructure, the number of participants is limited, ensuring an exclusive and well-organized event.

Additional information
Race bib distribution takes place approximately 1 hour after arrival of the special ferry until 30 minutes before the start. Race bibs with integrated chip for timing are used for all stages. Changing rooms, showers, and toilets are available on the islands. Sports bag storage is offered. There are information events on June 19th before the race. The award ceremony takes place at 3:00 PM on Borkum. Stage race across seven islands, no waiting list, limited participant capacity, no transfers of starting places.
