EWE Nordseelauf - Etappe 1

The EWE North Sea Run is a long-standing stage race across seven different East Frisian North Sea islands. For more than two decades, it has attracted running enthusiasts from Germany and other countries. The first stage takes place on Borkum, the largest island, renowned for its unique natural environment, maritime atmosphere and healthy maritime climate. The route follows the promenade, with the start and finish in the same place. The race combines a sporting challenge with the experience of the North Sea coast in a friendly and fair competition atmosphere.

Race-number collection on event day from 10:45 to 12:00 at Kulturinsel Borkum. Sports-bag storage from 11:30 to 14:30. Changing rooms and toilets at Kulturinsel Borkum; showers at Gezeitenland Borkum. Awards ceremony at 15:00. The race number has an integrated timing chip and must not be folded. Information events on 19.06. in Bensersiel to help participants prepare. There is no waiting list or reserve list, and entries are non-transferable. Stages take place on seven islands. There is no waiting list, entries cannot be transferred, and capacity is limited due to ferry and infrastructure constraints.
