EWE-Nordseelauf 2026 - Norderney (2. Etappe)

The EWE North Sea Run is a traditional stage race across seven different East Frisian Islands on the Lower Saxony North Sea coast. It takes place from 20 to 27 June 2026 and attracts running and walking enthusiasts from across Germany and abroad. The individual stages follow varied routes featuring maritime charm, dune landscapes and the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site. The event offers a unique running experience, with each stage starting and finishing on an island, as well as comprehensive facilities including race-number collection, sports-bag storage and on-site awards ceremonies.

Race numbers are collected on each island, for example at the tourist information office on Norderney from 10:00 to 12:00. Sports-bag storage is available on the islands, for example at the Conversationshaus on Norderney from 11:30 to 14:30. Showers, changing rooms and toilets are available on the islands. The awards ceremony takes place at 15:00 on the Kurplatz or at comparable locations. The race number includes an integrated timing chip and is valid for all stages. There is no waiting list or reserve list, and race entries cannot be transferred. The stage race covers seven islands. Participant numbers are limited due to infrastructure and ferry capacity. Registration is full; there is no waiting list.
