EWE-Nordseelauf 2026 - Langeoog (5. Etappe)

The EWE North Sea Run is a traditional stage race across seven different East Frisian islands on the Lower Saxony North Sea coast. It takes place in 2026 from June 20 to 27 and attracts running and walking enthusiasts from across Germany and abroad. Stage 5 takes runners to the car-free island of Langeoog, which delights visitors with its 14 km sandy beach, dunes, tides, and salt marshes in the Wadden Sea National Park. The start and finish are centrally located at the corner of Barkhausenstraße/Gartenstraße/Kurstraße, and the event offers a unique combination of sporting challenge and experience of nature.

Race number distribution from 11:30 to 13:30 at Haus der Insel. Sports bag storage from 13:00 to 16:00 at Haus der Insel. Changing rooms and showers at the swimming pool; toilets at Haus der Insel. Awards ceremony at 16:30 in the start/finish area on Barkhausenstraße. A race number with an integrated timing chip will be issued and is valid for all stages. Stage race across seven islands; advance registration only; participant numbers are limited due to ferry capacity; merchandise available.
