Race description
The EWE North Sea Run is a traditional stage race across seven different East Frisian Islands on the North Sea coast of Lower Saxony. It takes place in 2026 from June 20 to June 27 and attracts running and walking enthusiasts from all over Germany and abroad. The 5th stage leads to the car-free island of Langeoog, which impresses with its 14 km long sandy beach, dunes, tides, and salt marshes in the Wadden Sea National Park. Start and finish are centrally located at the corner of Barkhausenstraße/Gartenstraße/Kurstraße, and the event offers a unique combination of sporting challenge and nature experience.

Additional information
Race number pickup from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the House of the Island. Sports bag storage from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the House of the Island. Changing rooms and showers in the swimming pool, toilets at the House of the Island. Award ceremony at 4:30 pm at the start/finish area on Barkhausenstraße. Race bib with integrated chip for timing will be issued and is valid for all stages. Stage race across seven islands, registration only in advance, limited participant capacity due to ferry capacities, merchandise available.
