EVL-HalbMarathon Leverkusen

The EVL Half Marathon in Leverkusen is a traditional and challenging half marathon taking place on June 14, 2026, for the 24th time. The course covers 21.1 kilometers through the sports city of Leverkusen, including a special highlight: passing through the BayArena, the home stadium of Bayer 04 Leverkusen. The hill climb on Sauerberg presents an additional challenge. The race is open to all performance levels, from beginners to elite runners, and offers a unique running experience with lots of atmosphere and community spirit.

Start and finish on Bismarckstraße between Ostermann-Arena and BayArena. Participants must be born in 2010 or earlier for the half marathon, 2016 or earlier for the 10 km run, and 2018 or earlier for the 5 km run. Bib numbers are non-transferable and must be worn visibly. There are also Bambini runs with available spots. The event shirt for 2026 is available. The organizer recommends a good training structure with regeneration and nutrition tips from running coach Andrea von Horn. The event takes place in all weather conditions. The course passes through Leverkusen, including the BayArena; registration for Bambini runs; event shirt and merchandise; podcast with tips and stories.
