Race description
The 10 km race from Dürwiß is a traditional road race held annually on the first Saturday in August by SV Germania Dürwiß e.V. Over 500 runners from home and abroad participate, with winning times usually around 30 minutes. The flat, officially measured 2 km asphalt loop runs through the town center of Dürwiß and is completely closed to traffic on race day. The special feature of this cult race are the numerous spectators and the atmospheric street parties along the route, which create a unique atmosphere with music and decorations. The event is rounded off with an after-run party with DJ Steve and a variety of refreshments.

Additional information
In addition to the 10 km main race, there is also a 4,000 m open race, children's and youth races from 200 m to 1,000 m, as well as a 10 km inline skating race with different rounds depending on age group. The route is completely closed to road traffic on race day, and there is a strict parking ban along the course. The event is complemented by an after-run party with DJ Steve and extensive catering. The course returns to 10 km, inline and children's races, street festivals, after-run party, music, and sponsor prizes.
