Die 10 Kilometer von Dürwiß

The 10 km von Dürwiß is a traditional road race held annually on the first Saturday in August by SV Germania Dürwiß e.V. More than 500 runners from Germany and abroad take part, with winning times usually around 30 minutes. The flat, officially measured 2 km asphalt loop runs through the town center of Dürwiß and is completely closed to traffic on race day. What makes this cult race special are the many spectators and lively street parties along the course, with music and decorations creating a unique atmosphere. The event wraps up with an after-run party featuring DJ Steve and a wide selection of refreshments.

In addition to the 10 km main race, there is a 4,000 m fun run, children’s and youth races from 200 m to 1,000 m, and a 10 km inline skating race with different lap formats depending on age group. The course is completely closed to road traffic on race day, and parking along the route is strictly prohibited. The event wraps up with an after-run party featuring DJ Steve and extensive refreshments.
