Deichlauf

The Deichlauf in Hohnstorf/Elbe offers a diverse running program with routes for children and adolescents, an Olympic school relay, as well as races over 5 km and 10 km. The event is approved by the German Athletics Association and is open to runners of all ages and performance levels. The course runs scenic along the dike and provides a sporting challenge in a family-friendly atmosphere. Participants can compete in special classifications and team rankings, making the competition even more exciting.

Showers are not available. Medical services are on site at the finish and along the course. Late registrations are accepted online until June 11, 2026, and on the day of the event until 1 hour before the respective start. Photos and videos will be taken by an authorized service provider and may be published. The Deichlauf in Greven recorded over 800 participants in June 2026, with courses from 2 km to 10 km, including inclines and suitable for all age groups. The event is a community gathering with a special focus on families and nature lovers.
