Citylauf Leonberg

The City Run Leonberg on June 27, 2026, offers a varied running experience for all age groups and ability levels. The routes pass through Leonberg’s historic old town, the picturesque center of Eltingen, and the modern city center at Neuköllner Platz, with several fan zones featuring live music and enthusiastic spectators. In addition to the main 10 km race, there is a 5 km race, a 1.4 km schoolchildren’s race, and a 0.4 km children’s race. The event is a lively sporting highlight for the whole city, with a fantastic start and finish atmosphere.

The start and finish are on Steinstraße, between the sports center/indoor swimming pool and the fairground. Changing and shower facilities are available at the sports center. Timing uses a transponder integrated into the race bib (except for the children’s race, which is untimed). Age categories follow the German Athletics Federation’s rules. The 10 km race is approximately 9.7 km due to the course combination. The children’s race is untimed but includes team scoring. The schoolchildren’s race has age-group rankings and prizes. Race-pack collection begins at 15:00 at the Steinstraße fairground. The event includes various race categories, including relay and schoolchildren’s races. Registration for the 5 km race is open until June 22, 2026; participation in the 10 km race is also available. Special offers are available for groups and families.
