Citylauf Leonberg

The City Run Leonberg on June 27, 2026, offers a diverse running experience for all age groups and performance levels. The routes lead through the historic Old Town of Leonberg, the picturesque town center of Eltingen, and the modern city center at Neuköllner Platz, accompanied by several fan zones with live music and enthusiastic spectators. In addition to the main race over 10 km, there is a 5 km run, a school run over 1.4 km, and a children's run over 0.4 km. The event is a lively sports highlight for the entire city with a grand start and finish atmosphere.

Start and finish are located on Steinstraße between the sports center/swimming pool and the festival grounds. Changing and shower facilities are available at the sports center. Timing is done with an integrated transponder in the bib number (except for the children's run, which is without timing). Age categories follow the German Athletics Association regulations. For the 10 km run, the course is approximately 9.7 km due to route combination. The children's run is without timing but includes team scoring. The school run features age group classifications and prizes. Bib distribution begins at 3:00 PM at the festival grounds on Steinstraße. The event includes various race categories, including relay and school runs. Registration for the 5 km run is open until June 22, 2026, and participation in the 10 km run is also planned. There are special offers for groups and families.
