The City Sports Evening Run in Rostock is a popular summer race held annually in the Barnstorfer Forest. Hundreds of runners gather for an evening run that combines the joy of running with a good cause. The proceeds from the race are donated to charitable organizations, most recently to the Rostock Hospice at Klinikum Südstadt. The race takes place on a 2.5 km loop course, with no timing, includes an event shirt, refreshments, a bouncy castle, a raffle, and registration is open until July 22 at the City Sports specialty store.
