Burgentrail Unterfränkische Traillaufmeisterschaften

The Burgentrail in Ostheim is a challenging trail running event that will host the Unterfränkische Trail Running Championships on October 3, 2026. The course leads through diverse forest and meadow paths, passing historic castle ruins such as Lichtenburg and Königsburg, and features technically demanding trails with roots and steep descents. The scenic backdrop with views into the Grabfeld makes the race a special experience for trail enthusiasts of all performance levels. The Burgentrail is part of the Trailrunning Cup Rhön 2026, which consists of three events. Participants who take part in all three races will be included in the overall ranking. Finisher receive an online certificate. The course includes challenging technical sections with roots and steep trails that require coordination and concentration.
