Race description
The Buchholz City Run is a traditional race with cult status in the Nordheide, taking place on 21 June 2026. The route runs right through the centre of Buchholz and is lined with numerous spectators, creating a special atmosphere and providing motivation. A range of distances offers suitable challenges for all ages and ability levels, from the children’s race to the popular team relay. Running training with certified coaches is also available, and all participants receive special medals and certificates.

Additional information
Race pack collection on 20.06.2026 from 9:00–15:00 and on 21.06.2026 from 7:00 at the town hall. Late entries on 20.06. and 21.06. are cash only. Showers are available at Waldschule. Helmets are compulsory for inline skaters; full protective gear is recommended. Free finisher shirt for children and young people up to age 18; adults pay €5 per shirt. Drinks are provided every 5 km, with tea and water available more frequently. Various distances, running training, children’s races, measured courses, prizes for winners, medals, certificates, free finisher shirt for young people, drinks every 5 km, team competition.
