Race description
The Buchholz City Run is a traditional race with cult character in the Nordheide region, taking place on June 21, 2026. The course runs right through the city center of Buchholz and is accompanied by numerous spectators, creating a special atmosphere and motivation. Various distances offer suitable challenges for all age and performance groups, from children's runs to the popular relay race in teams. Additionally, there is running training with certified coaches, and all participants receive special medals and certificates.

Race bib distribution on June 20, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and on June 21, 2026 from 7:00 AM at the town hall. Late registrations are only possible in cash on June 20 and 21. Showers are available at the Waldschule. Helmet requirement for inline skaters, full protective gear recommended. Free finisher shirt for children and adolescents up to 18 years, adults pay €5 per shirt. Beverage stations every 5 km with tea and water more frequently. Various distances, running training, children's runs, course measurement, prizes for winners, medals, certificates, free finisher shirt for youth, beverages every 5 km, team competition.
