Race description
The Bottwartal Marathon is a unique running spectacle set in the picturesque landscape of southern Germany. The course takes you through gentle vineyard slopes, idyllic old towns, and offers an exhilarating atmosphere at the roadside. Whether beginner or ambitious runner, everyone will find their highlight here. In addition to the marathon, there are a variety of running options from 5 km to ultra, suitable for all ages and performance levels.

Additional information
Monthly free training runs with pace groups and guides for preparation. Summer runs during the summer holidays every Tuesday evening. Year-end run with 10 km and afterwards punch and mulled wine. The OPR30 run is limited to 150 participants. All runs have refreshment stations approximately every 5 km. Late registrations are possible until shortly before the event, registration via Datasport. Various distances, including children’s and inclusion runs, registration via Datasport, GPS-based course measurement, medals at the finish line.
