Birkhahnlauf

The Birkhahnlauf in Schneeren is a traditional race that has been held annually on the last Sunday in October for over 50 years. The event offers distances for all age groups, from short children’s races starting at 500 metres to challenging 5 km and 10 km races for adults. The routes run through the pine forest on firm forest paths with a slightly sandy surface and no significant elevation gain, making the race a special experience surrounded by nature. New this year is a 2.3 km distance for age group U12 and above. The friendly atmosphere and promptly held award ceremonies with certificates and medals round off the event.
