Barbarossalauf 2026

The Barbarossalauf 2026 returns to Erlenbach am Main as a city race on July 19. The new course starts centrally at the old fire station and follows a flat, scenic route along the Main before passing through Erlenbach’s old town on the way to the finish. The event offers races for different age groups and distances, from children’s races to the 10 km main race, which consists of two laps. The course is ideal for beginners and ambitious runners aiming for fast times, and showcases Erlenbach at its best.

Race materials will be distributed at the old fire station from 13:30 on race day. Shirts are available while supplies last. Timing is done by scanning race bibs at the finish. Parking is available at the outdoor swimming pool and the train station. 80% of the entry fee will be refunded until 12.07.2026, and 50% thereafter. Transfers to another participant are possible at any time. Several race distances are offered, including a marathon, half marathon, 10 km and shorter races; the event promotes running in the region; registration is possible until race day.
