Bad Essener Abendlauf

The 29th International Bad Essen Evening Run will take place on July 3, 2026, at the Kirchplatz in Bad Essen. The event offers a family-friendly atmosphere with races for all age groups and performance levels, including a Bambini run, school run, relay race, open run, and a 10 km main race. Especially attractive is the new relay race with a shortened distance of 6 x 400 m, making participation easier for more children, teenagers, and adults. Food and drinks are available on the Kirchplatz to cater to participants and spectators. Guests from the partner city Bolbec (France) traditionally participate, emphasizing the international character of the event.

Bambini run without registration and entry fee. Registration on the day of the event until 30 minutes before the race for a fee of 2 €. Bib number distribution on race day on-site until about 30 minutes before the start. Drinks and sausage stand available on the Kirchplatz.
