Bad Essener Abendlauf

The 29th International Bad Essen Evening Run takes place on July 3, 2026, at Kirchplatz in Bad Essen. The event offers a family-friendly atmosphere, with races for all ages and ability levels, including a Bambini run, a schoolchildren’s race, a relay, an open race, and a 10 km main race. A particular highlight is the new relay, with a shortened 6 x 400 m course that makes it easier for more children, young people, and adults to take part. Food and drinks will be available at Kirchplatz. Participants from the partner town of Bolbec, France, traditionally take part, underscoring the event’s international character.

The Bambini run has no registration or entry fee. Late registration is available on the event day until 30 minutes before the race for a €2 fee. Race numbers can be collected at the venue on race day until approximately 30 minutes before the start. A drinks and sausage stand will be available at Kirchplatz.
