Altmühltrail

The Altmühltrail 2026 takes place on October 17th in Dollnstein in the Altmühltal Nature Park and offers a unique trail running experience that combines sport, nature, and enjoyment. The course leads over challenging trails, impressive rock formations, dense forests, and scenic ridges. In addition to the sporting challenge, enjoyment stations with regional specialties provide a special experience. The children's race with a trail obstacle course also offers young runners the opportunity to gain their first experience.

Start of the long-distance hikers and Nordic walkers without timing at 09:30 AM, long-distance runners with timing at 11:30 AM, short-distance runners with timing at 12:00 PM, short-distance hikers and Nordic walkers without timing at 12:15 PM. Race packet distribution on the day before from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM and on race day from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM (children's race only until 10:00 AM). Registration opens on February 16, 2026 at 4:02 PM, capacity is quickly reached, and there is a waiting list. The children's race can still be registered separately. Participation in trail running, Nordic walking, or hiking is possible, with catering, showers, awards ceremony, age restrictions.
