Alten-Busecker Winterlaufserie - 1. Event

The Alten-Buseck Winter Running Series is a long-standing running event held in the Buseck/Alten-Buseck region. It comprises several races over different distances, including 2 km, 5 km, 10 km, 15 km and a half marathon (21.1 km). The races each start at 2:00 p.m. at the Harbig Hall in Alten-Buseck and offer a friendly atmosphere for runners of all ages and ability levels. The series promotes a sense of community with a series classification for participants who take part in all three races. Refreshments and an awards ceremony for the fastest runners follow the finish.

Timing is provided using passive transponders from Raceresult. There is a series classification for participants who take part in all three races in the series. After finishing, runners receive a complimentary soft drink. Coffee and cake are available for purchase. Toilets, showers and changing facilities are available at the Harbig Hall. The awards ceremony takes place after the races, recognising the three fastest participants (men/women) in each race on the day, as well as the age-group winners at the end of the series.
