6-Stunden-Sparkassenlauf

The 6-Hour Sparkasse Run in Fleestedt takes place on 30 August 2026 on a 1,200-metre loop at the Seevetal Sports Centre. The course runs mostly over paved surfaces and partly over grass. It is clearly visible from the start/finish area, adding to the excitement for spectators. Alongside the individual event, there are team and relay competitions, with the marathon (42.2 km) receiving its own classification. The run is open to runners born in 2008 or earlier, and for the first time the relay is also open to young people born in 2014 or earlier. Younger participants can take part in a 5,000-metre run and have the opportunity to earn a DLV running badge.

The marathon distance requires 35 laps. The team classification adds up all kilometres; the relay includes handovers. Entry is open to those born in 2008 or earlier, and the relay to those born in 2014 or earlier. The 5,000 m youth run is for participants born from 2009 to 2014. Children born from 2015 to 2020 can earn a DLV running badge. The event starts at 10:00 in the morning and lasts six hours, during which participants complete as many laps as possible. Breaks are permitted. The event offers a family-friendly atmosphere, various running categories and activities for children.
