Race description
The 6-Hour Sparkassen Run in Fleestedt takes place on August 30, 2026, on a 1,200-meter loop at the Seevetal Sports Center. The course mainly runs on paved surfaces and partly on grass, and is well visible from the start/finish area, creating excitement for spectators. In addition to the individual competition, there are team and relay events, with the marathon (42.2 km) receiving its own classification. The race is open to runners born from 2008 onwards, and the relay race is also available for youth born from 2014. For younger participants, there is a 5,000-meter run and the opportunity to earn the DLV running badge.

Marathon distance requires 35 laps. Team classification sums all kilometers, relay classification involves exchanges. Participation is open from 2008 birth year, relay from 2014. The event starts at 10:00 AM, with a duration of six hours, during which participants aim to complete as many laps as possible. Breaks are allowed, and the event offers a family-friendly atmosphere with various race categories and children's activities.
