4. Heartbeat Ultra

Heartbeat Ultra is a participatory charity ultrarun in Fulda, taking place on November 21, 2026. Participants run laps of approximately 6 km, covering up to 112 km, and decide for themselves when to start, take breaks and finish their run. Each lap raises donations for children with half a heart, supporting research and quality of life. The event is open to everyone, from beginners to ultrarunners, and wheelchair users are warmly welcome.

This is a charity run where every lap counts and the entry fee is donated in full. Participants receive a personal fundraising page where supporters can donate for each lap completed. There is a 400-metre children's run in the stadium, with each lap counted. The event is also available virtually, so people can take part from anywhere in the world.
