43. Flora-Westfalica Marathon

The Flora-Westfalica Marathon in Rheda-Wiedenbrück is a private marathon run held in accordance with the rules of the 100 Marathon Club Germany. The course consists of seven large laps of 6.10 km each, for a total of 42.7 km, and is marked with arrows or barrier tape depending on the weather. The event emphasizes self-sufficiency, as runners pass their cars after each lap. Marathon times are recorded using a hand stopwatch, and a certificate is sent by email. Participants must be at least 18 years old. There is no entry fee, but a voluntary donation of €5 is requested.

Start and finish at the parking lot by the Stadthalle, Hauptstraße 120, 33378 Rheda-Wiedenbrück. No showers or changing rooms are available on site, but there are toilets with warm water 150 m away and two additional toilets near the course. Participant limit: 22. Register by email no later than 6 p.m. on the day before the event, providing first name, last name, year of birth, and club. Participation is at your own risk; a liability waiver applies. Marathon times are recorded using a hand stopwatch; the ultramarathon has external timekeeping, with a photo as proof. Participants who stop the clock for drink breaks will be disqualified. Course: 7 laps of 6.10 km; ultra: 8 laps of 6.25 km; no showers; toilet 150 m away; participants must be at least 18; registration by 6 p.m. on the day before the event.
