Wiedenbrücker Christkindllauf

The Wiedenbrück Christkindllauf is a popular race around the Christkindlmarkt in the festively illuminated old town of Wiedenbrück. The course is a loop over five laps with a length of approximately 10.2 km and is not officially measured. The race traditionally takes place in December and offers a festive atmosphere in the city center. The event is organized by LG Burg Wiedenbrück and attracts numerous runners from the region.

Start and finish on Lange Straße in Wiedenbrück. Distribution of race bibs on December 5, 2025 from 15:00 at the Luise-Hensel-Saal in the Stadthaus. Registration only online from October 8, 2025, 21:00. No late registrations on the event day. Time limit 75 minutes. Wearing headphones or earphones is prohibited and will lead to disqualification. Participants are asked to run as far to the right as possible and not form groups due to overtaking. Participant limit 1100, registration only online, medals can be reordered, race starts on December 4, 2026.
