41. AZ-Abendvolkslauf

The 41st AZ Evening Public Race will take place on June 12, 2026, in Uelzen and offers a diverse program for runners of all ages. From short introductory runs for children to main races over 5 km and 10 km, as well as walking, Nordic walking, and volkswandern, there is something for everyone. The course includes the historic city center of Uelzen and along the Ilmenau meadows. The race is an established event with dedicated volunteers and numerous sponsors from the region.

Registrations on the day of the event are possible until about 1 hour before each competition, with a late registration fee of €3.00 (except for the introductory run and walking). Medals are awarded to all children and students' runs up to 2.0 km at the finish line. Certificates can be printed online after the event. The start for all competitions is in Albertstraße in front of the turnaround area.
