27. Gläserner Mönch Lauf

The Glass Monk Run is a traditional trail race in the Pre-Harz region, returning after a seven-year hiatus. The course is known for its undulating profile with over 100 meters of elevation per lap and the legendary ascent over 222 steps to the "Glass Monk." Participants can choose from various distances, from the Bambini race to the 18 km extreme run, and experience pure nature between rocks and forest. The event combines athletic challenge with local pride and takes place around the Landhotel Schäferhof in Halberstadt.

Start and finish at Landhotel Schäferhof in Halberstadt OT Langenstein. Electronic timing with transponder (deposit 5 €). Late registrants do not receive a full starter package. Award ceremony from approximately 12:15 PM, children's races immediately afterwards. Minimum age and participation conditions must be observed. Limited starting places, various race distances, natural trail with elevation meters.
