Race description
The Bismarck Memorial Run is an annual road and forest run in Schönhausen (Elbe), Saxony-Anhalt, taking place on German Unity Day. Organized by SV Preussen 27 Schönhausen, it is part of the ELBE-OHRE-CUP and offers courses over 6.5 km and 13 km, as well as shorter runs for children and adolescents. The route starts from the club's sports center, goes along paved roads into the forest, past Kollerberg, and the longer distance is run twice. The event honors Otto von Bismarck, the most famous son of Schönhausen, and concludes with an award ceremony and refreshments at the sports center.
