Race description
The Eilenriederennen Hannover is an established summer running event that takes place through the green lung of the state capital Lower Saxony. The popular race is offered in three different distances: 5 km, 10 km, and half marathon. The course is officially measured, mostly asphalted, and nearly flat, allowing for fast times. The event offers a pleasant atmosphere with musical entertainment in the beer garden and is part of the Sparkassen-Laufpass series of the Hanover region.

Refreshment points at km 3, 5, 7, and 10 with water, isotonic drinks, and energy gels; at the finish line with watermelons and drinks. Timing is done with a chip integrated into the start number. The event location is the district center Lister Tower, Walderseestr. 100, Hannover. Recommended travel by bicycle or public transport (city train lines 3, 7, 9, stop Lortzingstraße).
