Race description
The Osterode Stage Marathon is a unique marathon that takes place over seven pleasant evening stages, each 5 to 7 kilometers long, around Osterode am Harz. The fourth stage leads through the beautiful Beber Nature Reserve in Schwiegershausen, featuring varied paths made of gravel, concrete, and grass surfaces. Start and finish are at the Schwiegershausen sports hall, and the route offers a great view of the Harz mountains as well as a mix of gentle and steep sections. The race is open to all who are physically capable of running about 7 kilometers at a time and promotes the community of regional clubs.

Additional information
The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 6:00 PM, with a raffle of material prizes. The Kids' Stage over 750 meters will be offered on June 27, 2026. The event is organized jointly by seven regional clubs. Participation is also possible without club membership. Minors require written parental consent. Multi-stage marathon event, scenic route through Beber, start and finish in Schwiegershausen.
