18. Osteroder Etappenmarathon - Etappe 1

The Osterode Stage Marathon divides the classic marathon distance of 42.195 km into seven enjoyable after-work stages of 5 to 7 kilometres each. The first stage starts in Förste on Sunday, 21 June 2026, and leads through the beautiful Söse Valley, with views of Lichtenstein and a route past the famous Lichtenstein Cave. The event is open to runners, walkers and Nordic walkers, and also offers a 750-metre kids’ stage in Schützenpark. The stages take place daily through 27 June 2026 and are organised by regional clubs.

The first stage starts at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday at the sports ground in Förste. The awards ceremony takes place on Saturday, 27 June 2026, at 6:00 p.m., including a prize draw for non-cash prizes. The event is open to runners, walkers and Nordic walkers; club membership is not required. Minors need written consent from their parents. After the first stage, participants can enjoy a meal featuring pasta specialities from MTV Förste. The event offers a family-friendly atmosphere, supports local sponsors and uses varied routes that encourage participants to discover both the natural surroundings and the local area.
